Job Location:  Queretaro, MX
Employment Type:  Full Time
Segment:  Danfoss Power Solutions Segment
Job Category:  Procurement & Purchasing
Work Location Type:  On-site
Job Experience Level:  Mid-Senior level
Job Title:  Supplier Quality Engineer

The Impact You'll Make

As our Supplier Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in strengthening supplier capabilities across Danfoss’ Fluid Conveyance Division. By developing supplier quality competencies, applying proven quality tools, and aligning suppliers with Danfoss and customer requirements, you’ll help build a more capable and resilient supply base.

At Danfoss, you’ll have opportunities to learn, share expertise, and grow alongside a team that is evolving with the business. You’ll work in an inclusive environment where knowledge sharing, collaboration, well-being, and continuous development are essential to our collective success.

Your impact? You’ll help improve supplier performance, strengthen the quality of incoming products and processes, and support the rapid growth of a division serving major data center providers and leading OEM customers. Your ability to coach, audit, and adapt quality approaches to different suppliers will help create sustainable improvements rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.

You’ll collaborate with Procurement, Supplier Quality, plant Quality, Engineering, Operations, and assigned suppliers and commodities, helping connect Danfoss sites with our external partners and translating quality expectations into stronger supplier performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead supplier monitoring and development activities aligned with the Fluid Conveyance global strategy, adapting quality
approaches to supplier maturity and business needs.
  • Facilitate supplier PPAP activities and quality-claim resolution, coaching suppliers to deliver documentation and corrective
    actions that meet Danfoss standards.
  • Conduct on-site supplier quality and process audits, identifying gaps and partnering with suppliers on practical
    improvement plans.
  • Train and coach internal and external stakeholders on the Supplier Quality Manual, Danfoss quality tools, procedures, and
    effective quality practices.
  • Strengthen collaboration between Danfoss manufacturing sites and suppliers to resolve quality issues, improve
performance, and support long-term supply-base capability.

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical background.
  • Strong manufacturing quality experience, with exposure to supplier quality and collaboration with both external suppliers
    and internal stakeholders.
  • Practical experience with PPAP, supplier or process audits, quality claims, corrective actions, and structured quality tools.
  • A flexible, coaching-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quality expectations and development plans to different
products, suppliers, and levels of quality-system maturity.
  • The ability to work independently, influence across functions, and travel to supplier locations as needed while collaborating
effectively with a remotely located manager

What You'll Get from Us

  • We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  • You'll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your
    well-being matters to us.
  • We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected and valued for who they
    are.
  • You'll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These
vary by country and contract, but they're worth asking about. We think they're pretty great.
