This role can be full-time or part-time (from 30h/week for highly experienced candidates). A mobile work agreement allows up to two days per week working remotely – about three days on-site are expected.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will play a central role in managing the plant’s financial performance while driving collaboration across local and global stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing and analyzing the plant’s financial performance, including profitability, cost structures, and cash flow
- Ensuring compliance with Danfoss Accounting Principles and internal/external regulations
- Acting as a finance business partner to the Plant General Manager and the leadership team, providing transparency and insights
- Leading monthly closing activities and support quarterly/annual reporting
- Driving budgeting, forecasting, and annual cost planning in alignment with local and global leadership
- Conducting deep-dive analyses on variances and operational performance, identifying improvement areas
- Supporting new business acquisition and quotation processes by providing financial guidance
- Collaborating closely with local and global finance teams to strengthen division-wide financial processes
What We're Looking For
- Degree from completed studies in Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering or a similar field
- Practical experience in Controlling — ideally Plant Controlling or a similar operational finance role
- Experience with SAP is an advantage
- Solid analytical mindset paired with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and proactively
- Proactive communicator who enjoys collaboration and takes initiative in discussions (exchanging ideas, speaking up in leadership forums, and challenging assumptions)
- Business-fluent French and English; exceptional English-only candidates may be considered
