As a Supplier Quality Specialist at Semikron Danfoss, you will be responsible for ensuring quality requirements in the series production supply chain, focusing on product and process quality. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with internal standards and customer specifications.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Electronics Quality Assurance: Plan, execute, and document measures to ensure product and process quality for electronic components in series production.
  • Technical Evaluation (Electronics): Approve capability evidence for electronic production processes (e.g., PCB/PCBA, semiconductors, power modules, SMT) to ensure reliability.
  • Supplier Management: Address quality deviations in purchased electronic parts, manage supplier complaints, and support suppliers during APQP/PPAP and engineering changes.
  • Deviation Management: Handle internal and supplier claims, coordinate problem-solving processes, and verify corrective actions (8D, Ishikawa, CIP).
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards (e.g., VDA 6.3, IATF 16949) and participate in internal and supplier audits.
  • Change Management: Evaluate and approve quality-relevant changes and production documents.
  • KPI Monitoring: Evaluate supplier and production quality KPIs and derive improvement measures.
  • Inspection Planning: Implement and optimize inspection characteristics for electronic components to ensure production stability.
  • Training: Guide production staff in quality methods and contribute to quality management development.
  • Supplier Visits: Conduct supplier audits and on-site assessments (approx. 20–30% travel).

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in supplier quality management or production quality, ideally in electronics, automotive, or industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, PCB/PCBA manufacturing, SMT processes, or semiconductor technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of quality methods (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) and standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3).
  • Experience in deviation management, 8D methodology, and structured problem-solving.
  • Ability to monitor and report on quality KPIs and derive improvement measures.
  • Experience in supplier management and managing quality deviations.
  • Strong communication skills for guiding production teams and working with international suppliers.
  • Fluency in English and French is required.
