Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be the driving force behind our daily logistics operations. What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of our supply chain team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead & Inspire: Develop, mentor, and motivate a team of hourly employees, fostering a positive and collaborative environment built on the Danfoss Leadership principles of trust, respect, and teamwork.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of our logistics, including distribution, inventory control, and order fulfillment, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Champion Safety & Quality: Proactively build and maintain a zero-accident work environment. You will be a champion for our "I Own Quality" culture, ensuring we meet the highest standards.
- Innovate & Improve: Act as a business partner by leading and participating in continuous improvement projects. You'll use the Danfoss Business System (DBS) to remove waste, reduce costs, and enhance lead times.
- Own the Flow: Take full ownership of plant logistics, from receiving and warehousing to material movement and packaging strategy, ensuring a seamless flow of products to our customers.
- Manage with Data: Conduct inventory audits and use data to monitor performance, manage inventory levels, and make informed decisions.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- At least 1 year of experience leading and developing a team.
- A genuine passion for creating a safe and efficient workplace.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, production planning, and supply chain management.
- A proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
