Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a Senior HR Professional to join our Human Resources team at our Van Wert, OH manufacturing facility. This position will support the local Van Wert team and Human Resource generalist activities. This role will be operated daily onsite and report directly to the Senior HR Manager at the Van Wert site. Relocation and work authorization support are not available for this position.
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Collaborate closely with key HR areas (HR Services, Total Rewards, Benefits, Payroll) to support the hiring process as needed.
• Stay updated on federal and state laws and regulations affecting HR management, as well as current trends in the HR field.
• Analyze trends and data related to employee relations and attendance and prepare actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.
• Conduct employee investigation when necessary.
• Support organizational change initiatives by coordinating communication, tracking action items, and ensuring leadership alignment.
• Lead employee recognition and engagement programs to improve workplace morale and retention.
• Support and facilitate on-site professional and leadership training needs.
• Participate in and provide support for HR team meetings and employee meetings and deliver standard communications to employees and managers in Van Wert and Maumee, Ohio.
• Administer and coordinate various HR plans and procedures, assisting in the development, implementation, and review of local policies and procedures.
• Maintain employment records, reports, and logs to ensure compliance with EEO, AAP, and ADA regulations and requirements.
• Any other responsibilities or duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or related field of study is required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a generalist, experience in manufacturing or large distribution preferred. Experience in managing full-cycle recruitment would be a plus.
• Preferred experience and use in the following systems: UKG and SuccessFactors.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule to support off-shift employees and managers regularly.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to consult and coach employees and manage complex issues.
• Skilled in researching and analyzing labor market data to make informed recommendations while adhering to standards, policies, and regulations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and execute with a sense of urgency
• The ability to leverage job boards and social media to effectively source, network (i.e. LinkedIn, Glassdoor) is desired. Experience utilizing labor market analytics is preferred
• Good working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and federal/state legislation
