In this role, you will ensure that our global CAE simulation environment performs reliably and efficiently for engineering teams across Danfoss. Your work will directly support product development by maintaining stable server and license infrastructures, enabling smooth software updates, and resolving technical issues that impact engineering productivity.

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize and maintain the performance and reliability of global CAE simulation infrastructure, including servers and license systems (FlexLM, RLM), ensuring a stable environment for end users.

• Manage the packaging, testing, and deployment of new CAE software versions and integrations with HPC clusters and cloud environments, ensuring smooth and validated updates.

• Collaborate with simulation engineering teams to provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for issues affecting product development.

• Drive continuous improvement by automating repetitive tasks through scripting and developing technical documentation and knowledge articles.

What You’ll Do Every Day

• Work directly with end users and vendors to troubleshoot complex simulation errors, performance issues, and license-related problems, helping minimize business impact.

• Participate in our Agile Kanban framework, completing tasks such as new CAE software deployments and creating scripts that automate manual processes.

• Monitor CAE environments and HPC integrations to ensure stability, reliability, and efficient operations.

• Document configurations and maintain knowledge base articles to support global teams.

Who You’ll Work With

You will partner closely with:

• Your CAE team and cross-functional groups such as IAM, Infrastructure Server & Networking, and Security to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of CAE systems.

• External partners and software vendors to manage licenses, coordinate support escalations, and implement new features or version releases for tools such as Ansys, MathWorks, Siemens Simcenter, Comsol, and others.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

• Deep CAE expertise: Strong knowledge of simulation tools such as Ansys, MathWorks, Siemens Simcenter, Comsol, and related applications.

• System administration skills: Proficiency in Windows/Linux OS, scripting, and automation tools.

• Network & security fundamentals: Solid understanding of networking protocols, subnetting, WAN (Cloud), LAN, and security principles.

• Problem-solving: Strong troubleshooting abilities, especially for complex technical issues in simulation environments.

• Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across global teams.
