As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how data drives decisions across global projects. Your expertise in Databricks, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric will enable us to build scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. By designing robust pipelines and implementing modern architectures, you’ll empower teams to unlock insights faster and innovate continuously. What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and Develop efficient batch data pipelines using PySpark on Databricks.
• Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for structured data processing.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to design data models and warehouses using Star/Snowflake schemas.
• Orchestrate workflows with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and integrate Azure services like Synapse, Key Vault, Event Hub, and Azure Monitor.
• Apply DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines, including automated deployment, monitoring, and testing.
• Ensure data quality through validation, profiling, and schema evolution across environments.
• Optimize data processing for performance and scalability.
• Implement secure access controls, secrets management, and audit logging.
• Create technical documentation and support UAT for operational readiness.
• Work proactively to identify risks and propose solutions, acting independently while seeking guidance when needed.

What We're Looking For

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; 3–7 years as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (minimum 1–3 completed projects) and strong PySpark skills.
• Solid understanding of Medallion architecture, ETL/ELT design patterns, and SQL optimization.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, CI/CD tools, and Git-based version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a growth mindset—you embrace challenges and see them as opportunities to learn.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a global matrix environment.
• Flexibility to work across time zones and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to travel internationally for training and projects.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow is an added advantage.
