The Impact You'll Make

As our Senior Designer, you’ll play a key role as part of the Specialty BU Engineering team within the Fluid Conveyance group at Danfoss India Innovation Centre, Pune. Reporting to the Engineering Manager – Specialty team, you will provide Design Engineering support for Fluid Conveyance products using tools such as Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.

Your work will support global Fluid Conveyance product teams by delivering accurate 3D models and 2D drawings that adhere to engineering standards. This ensures consistency, quality, and timely engineering support across global locations.

You’ll collaborate with the Specialty BU Engineering team and global Fluid Conveyance stakeholders, taking ownership of generating and maintaining engineering models and drawings, helping us move toward a more efficient and standardized engineering future

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build 3D models and 2D drawings for various design concepts while ensuring adherence to design standards, procedures, and data control requirements for the associated business group.

  • Support internal stakeholders by performing drawing checks using defined checklists, applying GD&T and stack-up analysis in line with ASME and ISO engineering standards.

  • Collaborate with global teams, customers, peers, and cross-functional teams through effective verbal and written communication to support Fluid Conveyance product development.

  • Use experience in fluid conveyance products (hose fittings, connectors) within the hydraulics domain, along with design automation tools or CAD customization, to improve design detailing and efficiency.

  • Continuously self-study design-related problems, issues, and improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations to enhance design quality and consistency.

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute with minimum first class OR distinction having relevant 1-3 years hands on experience on Pro/E, Siemens NX.
  • User level skills in ProE WF 5.0, AutoCAD, Siemens NX & other CAD packages
  • Good communications skills - both verbal & written
  • Good at engineering drawing reading. Ability to generate 3D models & 2D drawings adhering to engineering standards
  • Knowledge of MS-Outlook, MS-Word & MS-Excel
  • Awareness of PDM/PLM tools
  • Ability to work with Production planning system (ERP) to input Bill of material data
