The Impact You'll Make

 

As our Senior Engineer Electrical Design(EPLAN) , you’ll play a key role in VFD electrical panel design and engineering using EPLAN & Auto CAD, ensuring compliance with IEC/IEEE standards, supporting cross-functional teams, and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle

This role enhances business performance by delivering accurate, standards‑compliant designs that reduce errors, shorten project timelines, and improve product reliability. By standardizing EPLAN workflows and collaborating with cross‑functional teams, the role boosts engineering efficiency, minimizes rework, and strengthens the business segment’s overall competitiveness.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare Single Line Diagrams, power wiring, control wiring, bills of materials, general arrangement drawings, internal GA, and wiring schedules for panel engineering.
  • Design, select, specify, and validate critical power components (switchgear, busbars, inductors, fuses, power cables, etc.).
  • Independently create control logic.
  • Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and idea generation.
  • Support testing personnel during product testing.
  • Provide technical clarifications to suppliers and manufacturing teams.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (application, controls, mechanical, hardware design, and validation).
  • Work with supply chain and manufacturing teams to qualify components and resolve implementation issues.
  • Assist in solving critical customer cases.
  • Maintain all project-related documentation (initial drawings, customer comments, approved drawings, as-built and commissioned drawings).
  • Ensure rectifications in as-built drawings post-commissioning and keep records updated.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Diploma / BE in Electrical, Electronics, Power or EEE/ECE,
  • 4–7 years of combined experience in electrical engineering design.
  • Strong experience in EPLAN Electric P8 and Macro Engineering; knowledge of EEC (EPLAN Engineering Configurator) is an advantage.
  • Basic AutoCAD skills (mandatory for detailed engineering).
  • Expertise in VFD schematics, PLC schematics, MCC & PCC feeder design, IEC standards.
  • Ability to size switchgear and drives per customer requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in drives automation and electrical panel design.
  • Familiarity with IEC/IEEE/EN standards in design work.
  • Effective technical documentation skills.
