The Impact You'll Make
You will play a critical role in turning customer requirements into winning technical solutions—right from the first enquiry to order finalization. Your ability to design accurate, cost-effective proposals will directly influence business growth and customer success.
Working closely with sales, engineering, and customers, you will ensure every proposal is “first-time-right”—combining strong technical design with commercial clarity. Your work will help accelerate project wins while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
This role gives you the opportunity to shape industrial solutions across sectors by applying your expertise in drives, automation, and electrical panel design in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop technical proposals and costing based on customer specifications to enable competitive and accurate submissions
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to align solutions and improve win rates
- Design and size electrical systems including drives, switchgear, and panels to meet customer requirements
- Engage with customers and consultants to clarify technical needs and support solution discussions
- Ensure seamless handover of projects by maintaining accurate documentation from enquiry to order confirmation
What We're Looking For
- Experience in pre-sales or proposal engineering within electrical, drives, or automation domains
- Strong knowledge of VFDs, PLC schematics, MCC/PCC panels, and electrical system design
- Ability to interpret customer specifications and apply IEC/IEEE or equivalent standards
- Skills in costing, drive sizing, and electrical panel engineering for industrial applications
- Strong collaboration, communication, and ownership mindset
