As our Senior Procurement Manager, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Danfoss RAC’s manufacturing performance in Monterrey, Mexico by leading regional sourcing strategy, supplier partnerships, and cost competitiveness.
Your impact? You’ll help ensure our factory can reliably meet customer expectations by aligning procurement priorities with day-to-day business needs—improving supplier quality, delivery performance, and total cost across key manufacturing categories.
You’ll collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and our global procurement colleagues across multiple regions, taking ownership of the supplier base and commercial roadmap that support a more resilient and competitive supply chain.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team of 7 professionals, setting clear priorities and supporting growth through coaching and feedback
- Build, execute, and continuously improve the regional sourcing strategy and cost/productivity roadmap to strengthen competitiveness and support localization goals
- Partner with site stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and others) to align procurement decisions with production needs and customer expectations
- Own supplier relationship management for the North American supply base, including performance reviews, negotiations, and improvement plans across quality, delivery, and cost
- Drive supplier development efforts to strengthen capability, reduce risk, and enable reliable local production
What We're Looking For
- 10–15 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with strong commercial leadership in a manufacturing environment
- Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to develop teams and deliver results through others
- Relevant academic degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and supplier categories such as machining, castings, and stamped/pressed parts (or similar), with the ability to partner effectively with technical stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to collaborate across functions and work within a global organization
