The Senior Professional, Supply Chain Operations supports inventory accuracy, material flow, cycle counts, shortage tracking, supply chain reporting, warehouse coordination, and operational execution for the Utica liquid-cooling manufacturing and distribution site.
This role connects shop-floor material availability with system accuracy. This role supports receiving, shipping, kitting, replenishment, staging, internal logistics, and transaction discipline so production and distribution teams can execute reliably.
The salary range for this role is 70K -98K
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support inventory accuracy, cycle counts, transaction discipline, shortage tracking, material movement, and warehouse coordination.
- Maintain reports for material status, inventory health, shortages, aging inventory, cycle count results, and supply chain performance.
- Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Receiving, Shipping, Planning, and Warehousing to support point-of-use material availability.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, transaction errors, staging issues, misplaced material, labeling gaps, and process breakdowns.
- Support receiving, shipping, kitting, replenishment, staging, putaway, internal logistics, and finished goods processes.
- Monitor materials needed for production schedules, recovery plans, launch builds, engineering trials, and customer expedite orders.
- Support physical inventory, cycle count planning, root cause reviews, and corrective actions for inventory errors.
- Help maintain visual controls, supermarket locations, FIFO lanes, kanban cards, material labels, and 5S standards.
- Escalate shortages, stockouts, transaction delays, damaged packaging, quality holds, and material flow constraints.
- Support process improvement projects related to material handling, picking accuracy, warehouse layout, line-side replenishment, and space utilization.
- Train or coach users on basic transaction discipline, labeling, staging rules, and material flow standards as requested.
- Document follow-up actions and verify closure of assigned material-related issues.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, material handling, production support, planning, or logistics preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP or WMS transactions, cycle counting, inventory reporting, and supply chain data preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-up, communication, and practical problem-solving skills.
Technical Requirements
- Working knowledge of inventory transactions, cycle counting, material movement, warehouse coordination, shortage tracking, and point-of-use availability.
- Ability to use ERP/MRP and warehouse data to identify inventory discrepancies, transaction errors, staging issues, and material status gaps.
- Experience supporting receiving, shipping, kitting, replenishment, staging, internal logistics, and production support processes.
- Ability to maintain reports or dashboards for shortages, inventory health, material flow, and operational supply chain performance.
- Understanding of 5S, visual controls, inventory accuracy methods, material flow improvement practices, and basic root cause analysis.
