In this role, you’ll be at the heart of how new products move from ideas to industrial reality.
As a Senior Project Engineer in the NPD Projects team, you will shape production concepts, ensure manufacturability, and lead the successful launch of new equipment and production lines that directly impact how future products are built and delivered to customers.
You will work in a global, cross-functional environment where engineering meets execution, translating design intent into robust, scalable, and cost-efficient manufacturing solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead production readiness across new product development projects — from early concept through industrialization and ramp-up
- Define and validate manufacturing equipment specifications in close collaboration with suppliers (including FAT/SAT)
- Drive design-for-manufacturing alignment (DFM/DFA) and support DFMEA/PFMEA activities to ensure robust production solutions
- Own the implementation and ramp-up of new production lines, ensuring quality, cost, and timing targets are met
- Contribute to CAPEX planning and continuously improve production concepts and equipment strategies
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or similar, combined with solid hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, production design, or equipment development
- Proven experience in NPD / industrialization projects within a manufacturing environment, bringing products from concept to stable production
- Strong understanding of production processes and engineering-to-manufacturing translation, with a practical DFM/DFA mindset applied in real projects
- Experience working with suppliers and equipment validation activities (FAT/SAT), ensuring robust technical alignment and execution quality
- Strong communication skills in English within global, cross-functional teams; Danish language is an advantage, along with familiarity with PFMEA/DFMEA methodologies
