As a Senior Specialist, Market Intelligence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Danfoss' growth strategy within the rapidly evolving data center liquid cooling market. Serving as the central source of market and technology insights for the incubation team, you will help identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and guide strategic decisions that accelerate innovation. You will transform complex market, competitive, and customer information into clear recommendations that support business case development, strategic roadmaps, and long-term growth initiatives. Your work in this role, collaborating with leaders, engineers, business development teams, and external partners to uncover new opportunities, evaluate emerging business models, and drive impactful strategic initiatives, will help strengthen Danfoss' position in one of the world's fastest-growing technology segments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Gather and synthesize customer, market, and competitive intelligence to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct and interpret market research, industry analysis, and technology assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive risks.
- Develop market sizing models, business cases, and strategic recommendations that help prioritize growth opportunities and innovation investments.
- Lead special projects, market evaluations, and business improvement initiatives to support the Data Center Incubation team's objectives.
- Facilitate strategy workshops and roadmap planning sessions that align stakeholders around growth priorities, capability development, and future investment themes.
What We're Looking For
- Degree qualification in a relevent field such as Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, alongside proven experience in market intelligence, strategy, business analysis, consulting, product marketing, or a related analytical role.
- Strong ability to conduct research, analyze complex information, and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
- Proven skills in market sizing, competitive analysis, business case development, and strategic planning.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to communicate insights effectively to senior stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of data center infrastructure, cooling technologies, or adjacent technology markets.
