We’re looking for a proactive problem solver who actively seeks out necessary information. Whether through research, consulting external advisors, or other means, we expect you to understand and elaborate on complex tax and treasury matters. Additionally, maintaining a high level of professionalism is crucial. We value someone who takes initiative and identifies areas for improvement. The ideal candidate should also possess a sense of urgency, understanding the importance of timely responses and actions. Lastly, strong risk assessment skills are necessary for evaluating potential risks associated with financial decisions and proposing effective mitigation strategies.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Responsible for supporting Finance Manager with month-end closing, GL accuracy and BS reconciliation
  • Work closely with China SSC (Shared Service Center) to ensure accurate month-end closing in timely manner
  • Support VAT filing, Corporate tax, HFM tax reporting and all tax related issue
  • Support year end statutory audit & Corporate Tax return
  • Support corporate tax audits, addressing queries from tax authorities.
  • Assist in transfer pricing requirements such as BEPS Local file.
  • Execute treasury activities in alignment with group treasury policies and local standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Work closely with Global Treasury team to maintain TIS (Treasury Intelligence Solutions) setting
  • Administer local banking relationships
  • Prepare monthly FX payments and relevant bank documents.
  • Create monthly cash forecasts and assist in annual dividend preparation.
  • Manage corporate credit & employee T&E system (concur)
  • Guarantees/Bonds issuance and execution as per business requirements.

Background & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a relevant field.
  • Certifications: USCPA or other relevant certification preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
