We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sales Development Manager to drive Danfoss market share development in our Solenoid Valve business in the Asia Pacific Region. To be successful, the incumbent must drive a clear go-to-market strategy with an inclusive approach and strong opportunity management across countries. As a team player, the incumbent should continuously harness full transparency and drive active decisions on how to position Danfoss in the Automatic Controls business based on pipeline management
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Discover and develop opportunities within solenoid valves in emerging applications such as semiconductor production, marine and water management.
- Outline and develop solenoid valve sales strategy for Asia Pacific, with special focus on the Korean market
- Commercially accountable for business results
- Manage several key accounts, acquire new customers and coordinate closely with local sales organization and the global business team to maximize growth
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends in Asia Pacific.
- Collaborate with the sales team to implement a strategic sales plan for solenoid valve solutions in the Asia market.
- Voice inside the LoB for regional sales development updates (Incl. product launch development) and product roadmap planning (ensure stakeholders are incorporating regional product needs, solutions to address main obstacles to growth and customer/competitor regional insights in plans).
- Assist in developing and presenting tailored solutions to clients in collaboration with the technical team.
- Support critical customer meetings, business reviews and sales meeting in the region as needed.
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
- Minimum bachelor´s degree in Engineering
- Experience from B2B area, preferably from the industrial/project environment
- 10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing and/or product management
- Background in solenoid valves is an asset
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of solenoid valves and related products.
- Strong business acumen with solid negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to translate customers’ needs into compelling product and/or service propositions
- Effective communication and networking skills - both internal (across all relevant functions) and external (customers)
- Self-motivated, service-oriented individual having a customer centric mindset.
- Ambitious and has a strong drive to succeed. Self-motivated team player who WANTS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Fluent in Korean and English
