The Strategic Marketing Manager plays a critical role in shaping the future direction of Danfoss Turbocor Compressors. This role is responsible for identifying long-term product opportunities by evaluating market trends, regulatory developments, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in Asia region.
This position requires strong strategic thinking, structured problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will convert insights into business cases and strategic frameworks that drive investment decisions and long-term growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define Turbocor’s long-term product strategy in Asia region and in alignment with corporate priorities and market trends
- Lead market intelligence efforts focused on emerging applications, customer demands, sustainability drivers, and regional regulations
- Conduct market sizing, segmentation analysis, and opportunity assessments for new products, refrigerants, and applications (e.g., heat pumps, data centers, etc.)
- Build strategic business cases to support early-stage product initiatives and platform investments
- Develop and maintain competitive intelligence dashboards and strategic benchmarking
- Drive global Voice of Customer (VOC) efforts in collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and Application Engineering
- Partner with the Product Management team and Global Product Marketing Director to shape product specifications and influence technology roadmaps
- Collaborate with Cross functions [Regional Sales, FSE, Application, regional product marketing and marketing communication team] to identify product value proposition in multiple application scenarios and securing pilot projects for making further go to market strategy.
- Represent Danfoss Turbocor at key industry events, think tanks, and forums to maintain market thought leadership

Required Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in product strategy, market analysis, or strategic marketing within the HVAC, energy, or industrial equipment sector
- Proven experience developing business cases, strategic frameworks, and opportunity assessments
- Experience working in a matrixed, multinational environment and interfacing with senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- APAC marketing management experience
- MBA or equivalent strategic training
- Chiller, heat pump, or compressor experience
- Background in sustainability, digitalization, or policy analysis is a plus
- Participated GB, GBT Standard experience is preferred

- Fluent English skill on listening, speaking, reading, writing and presenting.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and market modeling capabilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Skilled in synthesizing complex technical, regulatory, and market data
- Experienced in leading cross-functional workshops and customer interviews
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and market research tools
