The Impact You'll Make

The Production Planner supports daily manufacturing operations by creating and maintaining production schedules, tracking materials, and helping ensure work orders are completed on time. This role works closely with supervisors, operators, and supply chain to keep production running smoothly.

This is a 1st Shift position.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Create and update daily and weekly production schedules
  • Release and track work orders on the production floor
  • Monitor inventory levels and report material shortages
  • Coordinate with supervisors to adjust schedules based on production needs
  • Follow up on delayed or incomplete jobs to keep production on track
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems or spreadsheets
  • Communicate schedule changes and priorities to the team
  • Support continuous improvement efforts in scheduling and workflow
  • Ensure work orders and documentation are accurate and up to date

What We're Looking For

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A minimum of six (6) months of experience in manufacturing, scheduling, or related role preferred 
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry, ERP systems a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic blueprints
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Drive for results

Physical Requirements

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk on the production floor for extended periods of time
  • Frequent sitting, typing, and use of a computer workstation
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed when on the production floor
  • Visual ability to read screens, printed materials, and production documents
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment (including background noise)
  • Requires use of standard personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, and hearing protection while on the production floor.
  • Works in a production environment where inattention could cause injury

 

This is a safety sensitive position.

This position is classified as Safety-Sensitive under the Oklahoma Standards for Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Act.
