Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and solving technical challenges? Join us as a Service Engineer in our Digital Life Cycle Services (DLS) team at Danfoss Drives, where you’ll make a real difference for our customers and our business.
Based on-site at our Silkeborg office, you will play a key role in supporting customers primarily within the local and Scandinavian cluster (SCA), while being part of our broader European (EMEA) organization.
In this role, you’ll resolve complex technical issues, coordinate service deliveries, and ensure customers succeed with Danfoss Drives products and solutions. Your work will build trust, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen our reputation for excellence across the region—helping us deliver on our promise of quality and innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide technical support and service coordination for local and SCA cluster customer cases
- Conduct occasional on-site visits for troubleshooting (max. 20 travel days annually)
- Engage directly with customers to understand technical challenges and deliver solutions that exceed expectations
- Share learnings and best practices across the organization to drive continuous improvement
- Take ownership of local support cases in collaboration with other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support drive applications in cooperation with service and sales teams
- Maintain ownership of customer cases to ensure timely and effective resolution
What We're Looking For
- Industrial Electrician, Electrician, Low Voltage Technician or similar
- Experience with variable speed drives, especially VLT and Vacon products (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach
- Systematic problem-solverand agile decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Danish & English (written and spoken)
- Comfortable working in a matrix organization with regional and local stakeholders
- Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and openness to new IT tools
- Willingness and ability to travel regionally as required
