As our Forward Deployed Engineer – [Sales / Customer Service], you will lead the transformation of how our Sales and Customer Service team works.
This role is for builders, innovators and problem-solvers.
You'll have the freedom to identify opportunities, experiment with emerging technologies, and drive meaningful change across Sales or Customer Service. Your success will be measured not by the number of projects you deliver, but by the impact you create and the way you transform how people work. We are not simply automating today's processes -we are reimagining them.
You'll partner closely with commercial leaders and frontline teams to challenge existing processes, discover where AI can create the greatest value, and rapidly turn ideas into practical solutions that save time, improve decision-making, and enhance the customer experience.
From AI copilots and intelligent automation to digital workflows and data-driven insights, you'll help shape the future commercial operating model for Danfoss Climate Solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the AI and Digital Transformation lead for your commercial domain (Sales or Customer Service), driving adoption of innovative technologies and new ways of working.
- Identify and deliver opportunities that reduce manual effort, simplify processes, increase productivity, and create better experiences for employees and customers.
- Inspire stakeholders by demonstrating what is possible with AI, helping teams move from experimentation to business value.
- Evaluate business impact by measuring adoption, efficiency gains, and user feedback, ensuring solutions deliver real value.
- Capture best practices and reusable solution patterns that help accelerate AI adoption across commercial functions.
What We're Looking For
- Someone to constantly challenge "the way we've always done it" and help unlock entirely new ways of working through AI, automation, and data-driven decision making.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales or customer excellence, project management, solution engineering, technical consulting, digital transformation, automation, AI enablement, or a similar hands-on role.
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders and translating business problems into practical digital or AI-enabled solutions.
- Strong understanding of commercial processes such as sales operations, customer support, pricing, quotations, CRM, or product data management.
- An advantage if experience with modern digital technologies such as APIs, automation platforms, AI solutions, low-code tools, SQL, Python, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical thinking, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and engineering teams.
