We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team and lead the sales efforts for a dedicated team of 9 sales engineers in Denmark.

The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth within our climate solution portfolio, expanding market share, and strengthening customer relationships.

 

In cooperation with the sales leadership team, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and executing on the sales strategy for Danfoss Climate solutions with dedicated focus on indirect sales via wholesaler partners in Denmark.

Ideally you are located in the Central Denmark Region (Midtjylland) and able to be present at the Silkeborg Campus on a regular basis which will be your main working address.

Travelling primarily within Denmark is required for this position. Speaking Danish is also a requirement.

Job Responsibilities

 

To succeed in this position, you have excellent leadership skills and demonstrate a proven track record in sales management, team building, and strategic planning.

 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, expand market presence, and increase market share
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to maximize their potential and performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Sales Director, project team, marketing, product management, and other cross-functional teams to drive product launches, promotions, and campaigns
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote Danfoss products and services and generate leads
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments to develop effective sales strategies and product offerings

 

Background & Skills

 

As our new Sales Manager, we expect that you have a commercial background and/or a degree in engineering mechanics with +5years of sales experience.

You have strong knowledge of the HVAC industry and indirect sales via wholesale partners is preferred. Probably you are familiar with Danfoss products and solutions as well as working with CRM systems (Sales Force).

You show excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills and personal behaviors, supporting your ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
