As our new Electrical Design Engineer - Prototypes, you will design and develop electrical systems for innovative, energy-efficient cooling solutions used in data centers. Your work will contribute to reliable system operation, product development, and the delivery of sustainable climate solutions to our customers worldwide.

Every day, you’ll focus on developing electrical designs for complete cooling systems, selecting components, preparing technical documentation, and supporting prototype development and testing. On a typical day, you will create electrical schematics, collaborate with mechanical, controls, and software engineers, work closely with suppliers and production teams, and ensure that our solutions meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design electrical systems for cooling equipment, including electrical schematics, control panels, power distribution, wiring, and system interfaces.
• Select and specify electrical components such as sensors, actuators, circuit protection, power supplies, motors, frequency drives, and communication devices.
• Create and maintain electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, specifications, and manufacturing documentation using electrical CAD tools.
• Support prototype development, system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation in close collaboration with Mechanical, Controls, Software, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams.
• Ensure electrical designs and documentation comply with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, customer specifications, and relevant IEC/EN regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in electrical design and development of industrial equipment, machinery, or complex systems.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar.
• Strong understanding of electrical components, control systems, sensors, actuators, motors, frequency drives, and industrial communication.
• Fluency in English combined with strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
