Job Description
As our new Logistics Specialist, you will play an important role within our team and Shipping Function, by being responsible for a wide and various range of tasks and processes such as business analysis, BI reporting, Trade Compliance etc.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Regional trade management support.
- Follow the HS Classification.
- Invoice approval process.
- Invoice Approval process.
- Performance Management Monitoring.
- HS Classification.
- Business Reporting.
- Performance Management Monitoring.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements improve on-time delivery.
- Maintain master data information in SAP.
- Create and/or publish various reports.
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or international studies.
- 3-5 years’ experience in shipping and Trade Compliance including product classification, country of origin determination and awareness of export control matters.
- Experience within product classification is required, together with demonstrated expertise in customs issues and issue resolution.
- Knowledge of various Global customs regulations and the ability to apply technical knowledge of regulations to business transactions.
- Responsive to deadlines and consistent in producing quality work.
- Good communicator and used to working in a global and multicultural environment.
- You work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand the wholistic picture – Business segments, product & marketing strategies, importance of supply chain as a success criterion for business unit.
- Ability to work on large and complex data sets, analysis and interpreted data for supply chain decision making.
- Excellent English skills and able to communicate across all levels of organization.
- Proficient knowledge on MS Office, SAP.
