The Impact You'll Make
As our new Mechanical Design Engineer, you will design and develop innovative, eco-friendly cooling and heating systems that help our customers achieve carbon-neutral goals. Your work will enhance energy efficiency, optimize system integration, and contribute directly to Danfoss’ mission of creating sustainable climate solutions worldwide.
Every day, you’ll focus on designing and integrating complete cooling and heating systems, ensuring they meet both technical and sustainability standards. On a typical day, you will create 3D models, collaborate with partners and off-shore teams, apply CAD tools, and validate system performance through simulation and testing.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead system integration and product portfolio consolidation to deliver efficient, customer-focused solutions; develop prototypes, subsystems, and modules by translating application needs into technical requirements, supporting validation and testing.
- Mechanical design and 3D modeling of complete systems (piping, bending, flow and space calculations) based on P&ID diagrams.
- Use advanced 3D tools for collision analysis, virtual assembly, and optimization (cost, efficiency, and operation).
- Develop prototypes, subsystems, and modules by translating applications into technical requirements and supporting testing.
- Ensure that all documents and schematics are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in System Engineering/System Design.
- Strong background in mechanical design is preferred.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in CAD systems and PDMs.
- Strong analytical, creative, and independent working skills; structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
