As a Senior Professional, Server Engineering, you will play a key role in keeping critical systems available, secure, and ready to support a global business.
This is more than a server operations role. You will own the full lifecycle of enterprise server environments across Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and cloud platforms, helping modernize infrastructure, support migrations, and strengthen business continuity. Your expertise will directly impact thousands of users and business-critical services worldwide.
You will join a collaborative Infrastructure Operations team where your ideas, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills will help shape a resilient and future-ready technology environment.
The job shall be hybrid, our address is Rozhen 41 Blvd. Industrial Park, Sofia.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver reliable and secure Windows Server and RHEL environments by managing deployments, migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle activities from implementation through decommissioning.
- Improve system availability and user experience by proactively monitoring server performance, resolving incidents, and addressing service requests in a timely manner.
- Strengthen infrastructure security through patch management, Active Directory administration, DNS management, access controls, and SSL certificate lifecycle management.
- Help safeguard business operations by supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes using tools such as Commvault and similar platforms.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, CMDB records, and operational procedures while partnering with business and project teams on infrastructure improvements and migration initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, followed by a few years of experience in server engineering, systems administration, or server infrastructure operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) deployment, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, SPN administration, and secure access management practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms, and backup technologies such as Commvault or equivalent solutions.
- Familiarity with SSL certificate management, server patching, system upgrades, and operational support of MS SQL Server and/or MySQL environments, Professional certification in Microsoft Windows Server technologies and knowledge of ITIL frameworks are considered an advantage.
- Strong communication, predominantly in the English language; with problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
