The Impact You'll Make

As our new Technical Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting prototype development and engineering projects by ensuring that the right technical components, materials, and manufacturing services are sourced at the right time, quality, and cost.

You will work closely with engineers and suppliers, combining technical understanding with procurement expertise. On a typical day, you will review technical requirements and drawings, meet with suppliers, request and evaluate quotations, identify suitable components or manufacturing partners, and follow procurement activities from initial request through delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage procurement of technical components, materials, and manufacturing services for prototypes, R&D activities, and engineering projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and communicate with suppliers, including leading technical and commercial meetings related to requirements, feasibility, pricing, and delivery.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, BOMs, and engineering requirements to ensure that sourced components meet project needs.
• Request, evaluate, and compare supplier quotations based on technical compliance, cost, quality, and lead time, while supporting commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate closely with engineering teams and suppliers throughout manufacturing and delivery, including finding alternative suppliers or technical solutions when required.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
• Experience in technical procurement, sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, supplier management, or a similar technical environment.
• Ability to use CAD software, understand technical drawings, specifications, BOMs, components and common manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in leading meetings and technical discussions with suppliers.
• Fluency in English
