Are you interested in a role where your ideas and input contribute to the development of data analytics for the Data Centers industry? Our offices in Sofia are seeking an UI/UX Designer to join our international data center initiatives within the Virtual System Solutions department.

In this role, you will work both with your individual tasks and responsibilities as well as with managing and owning several digital projects. The position requires a collaborative and flexible approach, as you will be working individually on projects, but at the same time collaborating a lot in cross-functional teams with software developers, external partners and other stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and develop 3D spatial applications and interactive interfaces for visualizing data from digital twins, using tools like Three.js, CesiumJS, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
- Design and develop interactive web interfaces, and 3D spatial applications for visualizing data from data center digital twins with the use of a game engine.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders) to shape visualization strategies and enhance user experiences.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and responsiveness of visualization applications across various devices and browsers.
- Implement interactive navigation and data exploration features, integrating front-end applications with back-end systems.
- Stay curious—explore new technologies and trends in 3D visualization, game engines, and UX to keep your skills sharp and ideas fresh.
- Contribute to the overall design and user experience strategy for Danfoss's data center digital twin platform.
What We're Looking For
This role requires a university degree in Computer Science, interactive design, or a related field, with around three years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally with data-rich or interactive visualization projects.
In addition to that, we are looking out for the following:
- Scripting for UI logic (C# for Unity, Blueprint/C++ for Unreal)
- Animation systems for UI transitions
- Shader basics for UI effects
- Responsive/adaptive UI for multiple resolutions and platforms
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio showcasing visualization or interaction design work (we’re more interested in how you think than in perfection).
- Experience with data integration, API development, or data center cooling technologies is a plus—not a requirement.
On a personal level, you can focus on the important details while maintaining a holistic view. You like to learn and can understand very complex situations and digital ecosystems. Finally, you are a strong communicator and proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
