As our Sourcing Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading sourcing-related projects within the SEN (Sensors) business in Wuqing plant. This role focuses on driving sourcing project execution, supporting Cost Design Engine (CDE) initiatives from the procurement perspective, and aligning with global procurement strategies.
The position acts as a key interface between procurement, engineering, and operations to ensure project success in terms of cost, quality, and timeline.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as procurement representative in CDE projects
- Support Design-to-Cost initiatives by providing cost insights and supplier inputs
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities (material, supplier, process)
- Participate in VAVE activities and supplier feasibility assessments
- Contribute to CDE milestones (M0–M6) and ensure procurement deliverables are achievedLead and manage sourcing projects throughout the full lifecycle (idea generation, RFQ, supplier selection, implementation)
- Ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and meeting quality requirements
- Develop and maintain project plans, track milestones, and manage risks
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Support implementation of category strategies at the local plant level
- Ensure compliance with global sourcing processes and standards
- Drive localization and supplier development initiatives in line with global directionWork closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Logistics teams
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields
- Minimum 5–8 years working experience in procurement, sourcing, or project management
- Experience in sourcing projects or NPI projects is a strong advantage
- Good understanding of sourcing processes (RFQ, supplier selection, cost analysis)
- Knowledge of cost reduction methodologies (VAVE, Design-to-Cost)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic contract and negotiation skills
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and result-oriented mindset
