Danfoss Power Solutions in Shawnee, OK is seeking an experienced Specialist/Project Manager, Global Supply Chain. This role is 100% onsite and reports to the Plant Director. Please read on to see if this opportunity aligns with your interests and skillset.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Drive, consult, and coordinate Global Operations in E&O reduction initiatives across sites; lead and coordinate Inventory & E&O reduction projects, including transition of initiatives previously led by regional stakeholders
  • Facilitate structured deep-dive sessions with key sites on inventory reduction (monthly cadence); drive root cause identification and corrective action tracking to ensure measurable inventory improvements
  • Monitor inventory KPIs and ensure transparency of performance across regions; lead the monthly Global OGS OTD Review Call; facilitate bi-weekly OTD deep dives with key sites; 
  • Coordinate intercompany OTD improvement initiatives between major production locations; split plant ownership and ensure structured follow-up in collaboration with regional counterparts; 
  • Support implementation of Supplier S&OP processes with top suppliers and strategic buyers; facilitate supplier-plant forecast reviews and support investigations into forecast deviations; partner with local Supply Chain teams to improve alignment between demand planning and supply execution;
  • Contribute to roll-out and stabilization of S&OP governance models; represent Global Operations on data accuracy and reporting improvement initiatives (e.g., BW, P13, Ruby, internal dashboards);
  • Take ownership of data accuracy improvement initiatives transitioned from regional leads; drive transparency and consistency in reporting standards across sites; ensure reporting supports fact-based decision making in E&O and stock reduction initiatives;
  • Map supply chain processes and identify global improvement opportunities; lead benchmarking of inventory and stock management practices across plants; 
  • Support site-specific Supply Chain assessments in collaboration with Continuous Improvement teams; support SAP-related process stabilization and inventory data quality improvements;
  • Coordinate customer performance plan implementation (multi-site or complex cases) from a supply chain perspective

What We're Looking For

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supply Chain Management 
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience leading supply chain initiatives within a manufacturing environment
  • 3 years of experience governing inventory management and stock optimization strategies across multiple international manufacturing regions
  • 3 years of experience leading excess and obsolete (E&O) reduction initiatives involving multi‑region or intercompany supply networks
  • 3 years of experience operating within a multinational, matrixed organization, coordinating across independent regional stakeholders
  • 3 years of experience leading structured global stakeholder engagement and alignment across geographically dispersed teams
