Responsible for driving new product development and optimizing existing products. Take mechanical design and validation activities to deliver engineering solutions in collaboration with global cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead mechanical design for new product development and optimization of existing products.
- Analyze customer and internal technical requirements and translate them into product solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs, DFMEA, engineering drawings, specifications etc.
- Perform design confirmation and technology verification.
- Conduct data analysis and root cause problem-solving for design and process issues.
- Develop products in compliance with IATF 16949 standards and ensure adherence to industry directives, standards, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with global RD team and cross-functional teams and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to define optimal technical solutions and to ensure timely project execution and product launch.
• Generate, evaluate, and implement new ideas to enhance product performance and competitiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement in design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost efficiency.
• Follow EHS policies and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
What We're Looking For
More than 5 years’ work experience in mechanical design, preferred in HVAC/Heat exchangers, familiar with PED and UL directives.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
Proficiency in CAD software (CREO, NX, AutoCAD…) and Office tools
Strong communication skills in English
FEA simulation experience could be considered as a plus
