At Danfoss, decades of engineering knowledge live in documents, folders, and 8D reports that rarely get opened. You'll help change that. As part of this project, you'll work at the intersection of AI and product development, turning knowledge into an intelligent system that engineers reach for every day.

You'll collaborate with engineers and IT to identify, structure, and activate knowledge that remains out of reach for most engineers, and help build a system that gets smarter with every project.

Your work will have a direct impact on how fast Danfoss learns, innovates, and develops better products. Over time, this AI partner could influence design decisions, reduce repeated failures, and help onboard the next generation of engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Unlock hidden knowledge by organising content from internal drives, team sites, and project documents, creating the foundation for AI training.

• Shape the technology by collaborating with IT to evaluate, implement, and initially train a suitable Large Language Model on real engineering data.

• Lead a product pilot, designing and testing the AI model in a live product context, including guidelines for how engineers use and update it.

• Build self-improving systems by defining how new project learnings feed back into the model, making it more useful with every iteration.

• Contribute to day-to-day engineering, alongside the AI project, you'll support broader R&D tasks and process improvement initiatives within the team.

What We're Looking For

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.

• Some programming experience and genuine curiosity about AI, machine learning, or knowledge systems.

• Ability to structure complex information clearly, you can identify what matters and make it accessible to others.

• Comfortable working across disciplines, this role connects engineering, IT, and product development.

• Familiarity with LLM frameworks, prompt engineering, or knowledge management tools is a plus, but curiosity and willingness to learn matter more.
