Member of Quality Unit Management.
Develop and manage supplier quality according to ISO9001 or IATF16949 requirements which will ensure the process capability and product quality in the factory.
What You’ll Be Doing
Receiving and responding on change requests from suppliers/Internal
- Drive the approval process with internal stakeholders
- Communicate the result of the request to the Supplier, Go/ NoGo and e.g. Timeframe
- Track and report internal change control status
Follow up on the progress of the SPAPP activities related to the supplier
- Request relevant Supplier PPAP documents which will demonstrate evidence of the supplier quality planning, controls and verification results
- Ensure that all Quality requirements are understood by the Supplier
- Assess and give Approval of the SPPAP documents and upload to SAP
- Sign the PSW and send it to the Supplier as an approval for mass production
Supplier and Internal NC handling
- Lead supplier NC handling and corrective action validation in SAP and DTC CA system.
- Lead/Support internal NC disposition and root cause analysis;
- NC review and reporting;
Handle supplier requests of waivers
- Collect relevant information about the deviation
- Secure relevant functions to give inputs before final approval
- Secure Supplier waivers being signed by responsible person
Supplier claim handling
- Evaluate failures against the part specification and Danfoss non-part requirements
- Identify if the failure is a recurrence
- Issuing claims to Supplier follow up on activities
- Identify the level of 8D required - 3D analysis, 5D analysis or 8D analysis
- Control that containment, corrective and preventive actions are implemented, verified and validated (8D)
Conducting technical audits at Suppliers
Lead supplier performance validation and improvement
Other tasks as required on the job agreed with a direct Manager
What We're Looking For
• Minimum of BS Degree in engineering or quality management background
• 5+ years working experience on quality function, especially supplier quality, familar with total quality management and IATF core tools(APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, CP)
• Be capable of independently handle supplier claim and improvement and perform supplier audits.
• Familar with electrinical parts, PCBA, wireharness and know well the normal failures.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
• Logical and clear, possessing systematic thinking and the ability to withstand pressure.
• English is working language(spoken and written).
• ISO/IATF internal auditor certificate is required.
• Automotive industry experience a plus.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to predict risks.
