Job Location:  Graasten, DK
Employment Type:  Full Time
Segment:  Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives Segment
Job Category:  Supply Chain and Operations
Work Location Type:  On-site
Job Title:  Test Engineer / Senior Test Technician - PCBA

The Impact You'll Make

At Danfoss Drives, you will play a key role in ensuring that thousands of electronic products leaving production every day meet the highest quality standards. Your work directly supports reliable, high-performing solutions that help tackle climate change and enable sustainable industries.

You will join a hands-on test team in Graasten, Denmark, working close to production where a high mix and thousands of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) are produced daily. In this fast-paced environment, you will develop, maintain, and improve automated test solutions that ensure product quality and production performance as our products become increasingly more digital and software-driven.

If you enjoy solving real-world problems, working close to production, and making an immediate impact through smarter and more robust test solutions, this role offers both challenge and purpose.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support production daily by troubleshooting and resolving issues with functional test equipment, ensuring high uptime across ~20 testers
  • Improve test performance by optimizing existing solutions to increase quality, yield, and efficiency in a high-volume PCBA environment
  • Drive new product introductions (NPI) by implementing and commissioning new test setups, fixtures, and programs
  • Work with modern test technologies such as NI PXI, NI TestStand, LabVIEW, and .NET C#, with a strong focus on software-driven testing
  • Collaborate across teams including production, product development, and global test communities to standardize and enhance test platforms
  • Balance reactive and proactive work, from “firefighting” urgent issues to building long-term improvements and best practices

What We're Looking For

  • A background in electronics engineering, electronics technician training, or similar technical education
  • Experience with production test systems, functional testing, or troubleshooting electronic products
  • Solid understanding of electronics and basic hardware functionality
  • Familiarity with automated test tools (e.g. NI TestStand, LabVIEW, or similar) is an advantage
  • Solid IT and problem-solving skills with a structured and practical approach in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Fluency in Danish and English (spoken and written)

What You'll Get from Us

  1. We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  2. You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
  3. We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
  4. You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
