Job Description
Eaton Industries (Japan) Ltd. which is 100% subsidiary of Danfoss A/S of Denmark is looking for a controller who will take the lead in the operational financial controlling in Japan operation including manufacturing at a plant. There are lots of opportunities to experience the various projects and tasks for finance career working closely together with the Business Unit Controller at Headquarter as well as Japan Management Team in an international environment.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Monthly closing activities
- Business analysis and cost control to improve the performances
- Preparation plans for proactive actions and lead execution to achieve the financial target
- Preparation of financial management reporting for the BU and plant
- Preparation of annual budget and monitor it to achieve the target
- Set-up of standard cost which is labor rate, O/H rate and burden rate etc
- Compliance on financial process
- Tax preparation such as corporate income tax and consumption tax
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or above is essential
- >3 years in controlling, >5 years working experience in a manufacturing company
- Good knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP
- Good knowledge and understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power point) and SAP
- Communication skills in both English (business level) and Japanese (fluent level)
- Have passion and ability to explain the details to others in a constructive dialogue
