The Impact You'll Make

 As our Trade Compliance Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the strengthening of the organization’s global operations by assisting import and export processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, document integrity, and operational efficiency to mitigate risks.

You’ll collaborate with Logistics, Customer Service, purchase and finance and take ownership of Trade Compliance files, document accuracy and help us keep moving shipments and business.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

•    Execute import and export operations adhering to established timelines and regulatory standards.
•    Prepare, review, and manage customs documentation to facilitate efficient clearance processes.
•    Maintain and update the Foreign Trade documentation repository in alignment with internal policies and legal requirements.
•    Collaborate with internal departments—such as Logistics, Purchasing, and Warehouse—by providing current shipment status and necessary documentation.
•    Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure accurate communication and prompt resolution of issues.
•    Provide insights and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and strengthen Foreign Trade operations.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, or a related discipline (From the 5th semester onwards)
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of import/export procedures and customs documentation is preferred.
  • Exhibits a proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with customs or logistics platforms is advantageous.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English.
  • Possesses effective collaboration skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning in a dynamic environment with evolving regulations and operational requirements.
  • The role is fully on-site, with availability to commute to Parque Industrial Querétaro (PIQ).
