The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve liquid-cooling manufacturing operations. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical partner for production teams, helping ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing processes. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support new product introductions, troubleshoot production issues, and help maintain stable operations across manufacturing and distribution activities.


Success in this role means delivering consistent process performance, improving productivity and quality, and partnering effectively with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, standard work, setup sheets, and visual aids.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts related to quality defects, leak and pressure test failures, downtime, material flow issues, and process variation.
  • Partner with Operations to improve productivity, equipment uptime, labor efficiency, line balance, changeovers, and overall production readiness.
  • Support engineering changes, supplier transitions, new product introductions, process validations, and production launches.
  • Analyze manufacturing data, conduct time studies and capacity assessments, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues, implement corrective actions, and improve process capability and reliability.
  • Support workstation layouts, ergonomics, 5S initiatives, packaging improvements, and material flow enhancements that improve safety and product quality.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or a production-support environment.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in assembly, machining, fluid handling systems, thermal management, automotive, electronics, HVAC/R, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, lean manufacturing principles, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with process validation, new product introduction, and manufacturing documentation.

 

Job Criteria

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, tooling, testing methods, and process controls.
  • Experience creating and maintaining work instructions, standard work, process parameters, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis, process capability, PFMEA, control plans, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support cross-functional problem solving.
  • Comfortable working closely with operators, supervisors, quality teams, maintenance technicians, suppliers, and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
