Are you the new Senior Sales Development Manager, who can work in a global environment joining a highly result oriented team delivering quality solutions to our customers? Currently we are looking for a Senior Sales Development Manager for our Business Unit Integrated Circuit Solutions. The location for this position is flexible within the UK, either home based or at our plant in Warwick.

Job Responsibilities

As Senior Sales Development Manager for our Business Unit Integrated Circuit Solutions, you are a key link between the Business Unit and our customers, identifying customer needs and communicating these to the internal organization. In this role, you will contribute to sales activities by participating in key project development, supporting customers, and providing recommendations on strategic planning by account and region.

A key part of this role is constant and extensive cooperation and alignment with the Sales teams. This cooperation extends to customer visits, trainings, and general consulting, for which you will provide input, e.g. on technical and commercial data needed to provide the optimal proposal to the customer.

 

Background & Skills

  • Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or similar is preferred; alternatively strong experience in Engineering or Hydraulics will be considered.
  • Solid technical background in terms of expertise of Hydraulic screw-in cartridge valves and Hydraulic integrated circuits (HICs), basic working knowledge of hydraulic circuits.
  • Knowledge of the mobile off-highway machinery market.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Previous sales experience and/or formal commercial training (contracting, negotiations etc.) is a plus, but not mandatory.


Personal competences
We are looking for a hybrid profile. Possessing a technical and systematic mindset in combination with a business-oriented approach will be a distinct advantage, as the nature of this position requires a high aptitude and ability level. You use your application knowledge combined with a business-oriented mindset to identify and develop new opportunities.


To step into this role, having a proven and effective self-propelled drive, in combination with a solid independency is key. Having worked within complex organizations with many stakeholders simultaneously and upfront taking initiative and responsibility would be an advantage.

On the other hand, we do also need a person who have an in-built natural curiosity, but at the same time can incorporate analytical specifics into projects and individual tasks when necessary and convey these topics to a broad variety of stakeholders. You can also challenge stakeholders, shining a light on the essence of your findings in relation to managing projects and change management processes efficiently. 

Having profound interpersonal and communication skills is a must, as well as proven stakeholder management and change management skills. You also work effectively with all levels of the organization, individually, in groups and across cultures and sharing knowledge amongst your colleagues.

To support this, your pace is high, and you enjoy being proactive, well organized and solution oriented. You are an energetic and positive team player who can interact and perform agile work with a notion of transparency and urgency when necessary. 

You have significant experience from an international environment, working with cross functional setups. Being a solid facilitator both virtually and face to face, forming mutual trust is important. Having a proactive out-of-the box thinking challenging and question the status-quo and being skilled in Microsoft Office, as well as being fluent in written and spoken English is expected.
