If yes, then maybe you are the right person to join us and become our new Danfoss Drives engineer!

 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about designing electronics circuits and eager to learn more. Your focus can be in Printed Circuit Board Assembled (PCBA) electronics or Power electronics. Our product teams have technical design responsibility of the AC drives and power converters produced in our factories globally. Power electronics and PCBA electronics are essential parts of the products.

 

Job location is preferred to be in Vaasa, Finland.

Job Responsibilities

 

As a Senior Electronics Development Engineer, you will become an active part of a passionate and driven team and be given the opportunity to develop yourself personally and professionally.

 

Key tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

•    Circuit board schematics and layout design

•    Development of digital and analog circuits including switching mode power supplies using a wide range of technologies

•    Delivering PCBA designs, prototypes and documentation

•    Prototype testing and test specification creation

•    Co-operation with other electronics engineers, product team members and other interfaces such as Validation, Sourcing and Subcontractors

Background & Skills

There are several paths into this job. You have a relevant technical degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) within analog, digital, or power electronics.

As a people person that engages and motivates your colleagues and stakeholders, you have excellent teamwork skills as well as good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges and find creative solutions. Finally, you have a good command of English, both verbally and in writing, and at least basic command of Finnish.

 

Furthermore, we expect that you to have:

• Experience within product development

• Knowledge of design tool such as Cadence/OrCAD or Mentor PADS or equivalent

• Experience of circuit simulation tools

• Experience with EMC is preferred but not mandatory

• AC drives knowledge is an asset
