Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Technical Product Owner to join System Products Business Unit in Vaasa, Finland.
Your main goal is to lead design activities to ensure the product feasibility, compliance, and business needs of Vacon NXP System Drive. Vacon NXP System Drive is a comprehensive configured common DC bus drive line up for heavy industry needs with pre-designed cabinet sections. In this role you will collaborate closely with Product Owner, Global Engineered Solutions (GES), Product Engineering Center (PEC) and Product Development experts. Your leadership, collaboration and communication skills play a key part succeeding in this role.

Preferred location for this position is in Vaasa.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you'll be leading the design activities for pre-designed system drive sections, ensuring optimization of product value-add, cost, and quality through prioritizing Product Backlog items and documenting their value-add.
Your responsibilities also include translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications while considering technology limitations, prioritizing product needs, and reviewing outcomes with the team.
You'll provide support in maintaining the product vision and roadmap alongside the Product Owner, continuously representing, promoting, and defending product priorities to key stakeholders.
Furthermore, you will act as a product expert towards GES, providing support in assessing project-specific changes as necessary.
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate for this role should possess an appropriate technical degree (B.Sc., M.Sc.) along with over 5 years of experience in drives product management or engineering.
A customer-focused approach and a mindset towards product development are essential, as is some experience in leading teams, projects, or similar endeavors.
Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary, along with problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required.
Experience in compliance with standards such as IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61439, etc., would be advantageous, as would generally project management knowledge.
