The position is in Vaasa and part of the Danfoss Drives Supply Chain Technology department. This role offers a stimulating environment where you will collaborate with skilled colleagues locally and globally across teams in the USA, Europe, and China.

Job Responsibilities

 

As a Test Engineer, you will be a significant contributor in relation to new product development.

You will be responsible for the development and validation of new test applications in close cooperation with R&D.

You will manage test projects, develop future product test platforms, and drive the deployment of test technology to other global Danfoss sites.

Background & Skills

 

You are an experienced engineer who enjoys leading change in a complex environment. You have a relevant background as an electrical/automation engineer and experience from a similar position working in a test or R&D department. 

 

To succeed in this position, you should have:  

  • Minimum 2 years' experience from the industry 
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering 
  • Software competences with .NET and NI tools like Teststand & Labview 
  • Experience with the development of hardware and software for test platforms 
  • A good understanding of measurement technologies in the hardware area 
  • A good understanding of power electronics 
  • Experience with managing projects 
  • Fluent in English
