Job Description
Danfoss Hydraulics Division is currently seeking a 2nd SHIFT Maintenance Repair Technician to join our team. The position is based at our Van Wert, Ohio facility.
The Maintenance Repair Technician is responsible for building, rebuilding, troubleshooting, and repairing all industrial production machinery to company standards. In this role, you will maintain machinery to company standards, work with maintenance and production leaders to establish task selection and priority, always work safely and attend appropriate training seminars and maintain and improve skills through cross training and seminars.
Wage range $30 - $33 dollars per hour (depending on experience). $3,000. Sign on Bonus ($1500. at 30 days $1500. at 6 months) employee referral bonus eligible. Performance incentive bonus eligible.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Learn, apply, and retain new techniques, concepts and procedures required for continuously improving products, processes, services, deliveries, and overall quality.

Need to read and understand blueprints, control plans, routers, job instructions and measurement tools.

Maintain flexibility to be able to move from work area to work area to meet the delivery expectations of the customers and the productivity goals for the plant. Able to work efficiently to establish standards without constant supervision.

Work with PLC, PC, and CNC controls effectively as needed for maintenance.

Use all types of hand tools and power tools, electrical testing equipment, moving machines and construction equipment Build, rebuild, and trouble shoot repairs for all facility machinery to company standard.

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) required.

Completion of a Federal or State Certified Multi-Craft Maintenance OR Machine Repair Apprenticeship OR a minimum of two (2) years documented experience working in the trade.

Electro-hydraulic troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret ladder logic.

Understanding of Total Productive Mfg. (TPM) philosophy. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Notepad).
