Job Description
Our Danfoss facility in Van Wert, OH is actively seeking skilled Material Handler professionals to join our Distribution, Assembly, and various Production departments. Hourly wages typically range from $17.00 to $18.55, with higher pay rates available for experienced candidates based on their expertise and qualifications. We currently have multiple openings across different shifts, offering 8-hour workdays and a structured five-day workweek to support diverse employee schedules.
As a Material Handler at Danfoss, you help keep our manufacturing operations running at their best. Your work ensures that every production line has the right parts at the right time, allowing our teams to build the high-quality components customers rely on around the world.
Your accuracy and attention to detail help maintain product flow, reduce downtime, and support a safe, efficient, and organized work environment. When you do your job well, you directly impact our delivery performance and the reliability of the solutions Danfoss is known for.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be part of a supportive team committed to collaboration, continuous improvement, and creating a workplace where everyone can succeed.
The areas we actively hiring Material Handlers are in: Distribution, Custom Tubes, Metal Finishing.
•2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 2:45 PM – 10:45 PM
•3rd Shift: Monday – Friday | 10:45 PM – 6:45 AM
•4th Shift: Friday – Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Work 36 hours but get paid for 40.

Background & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED verifiable
- Able to lift to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Be able to work without sponsorship
- Speak English fluently written and verbally
- Be willing to work on equipment up to 20 feet in the air
- Prior experience with power industrial vehicles (i.e. forklift) is required for some roles
- Experience working with powered industrial vehicles; and/or the willingness to learn and maintain an active license for stock pickers and Very Narrow Aisle Trucks (VNAs, i.e. forklifts)
