Danfoss Cooling is looking for a Java Senior Software Developer to join our SW Research & Development team based in Marghera (VE). We offer you an ambitious and passionate working atmosphere with highly skilled, experienced and driven colleagues in an international environment.
The candidate, working with other team members, will be involved in the design and development of our IoT Java platform.
His main responsibility will be to develop high-quality software, producing clean, efficient, documented and tested code.
He will also ask to collaborate with the management to identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle and, most importantly, to evaluate new technologies.

Basic Skills:
- Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Java language
- Knowledge of Spring Framework
- Knowledge of Kafka message broker systems
- Knowledge of Java JPA and Hibernate
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of Git and versioning best practices
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous deployment (Bonus if Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with Linux operating system and shell scripting
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development
- Familiarity with OOP and design patterns
