As Vice President, CTO & Head of Technology for the Drives Business, you will shape the future of intelligent power electronics by leading a globally distributed, highly matrixed organization. Your leadership will connect product portfolio, platforms, and technology strategy into one coherent system that delivers measurable business impact, faster innovation, and long-term competitiveness. 

You will play a critical role in balancing short-term delivery with long-term transformation—driving platform reuse, accelerating time-to-market, and unlocking value through AI-driven engineering and data-led decision-making. Your work will directly influence how industries optimize energy, improve efficiency, and accelerate decarbonization. 

Operating across multiple regions and divisions, you will lead in a complex environment, aligning senior stakeholders, resolving competing priorities, and building a high-performing leadership ecosystem that delivers together, at scale. 

This role can be based in Denmark (Graasten), Finland (Vaasa), or India (Chennai), with a hybrid work setup.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Lead a global, matrixed technology organization and align divisions, product lines, and corporate functions to deliver shared business outcomes 
  • Shape and steer product portfolio, platforms, and technology strategy to optimize performance, cost, and long-term differentiation 
  • Drive engineering excellence and operating model transformation across PLM, DevOps, and digital engineering to improve speed and quality at scale 
  • Lead AI and data-driven innovation initiatives to deliver measurable ROI and embed advanced capabilities into engineering workflows 
  • Build strong governance and decision frameworks that enable cross-functional collaboration, resolve conflicts, and ensure scalable execution 

What We're Looking For

 

  • Proven ability to lead large, global organizations at executive level, with strong stakeholder alignment and conflict resolution skills 
  • Deep expertise in product portfolio and platform strategy within power electronics, embedded software, or related industrial technologies 
  • Strong track record of translating strategy into measurable business results, including innovation, cost, and time-to-market improvements 
  • Experience driving engineering transformation initiatives (e.g., digital engineering, DevOps, AI adoption, PLM systems) 
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution, making high-impact decisions in complex and uncertain environments
