The Impact You'll Make
As a Systems & Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping customers develop high-performing mobile machinery solutions by integrating Danfoss hydraulic and electronic control technologies. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will bridge customer needs with innovative system solutions, driving customer satisfaction, business growth, and long-term partnerships across the European market.
You will become part of a European team consisting of 35-40 dedicated Systems & Application Engineers. Together with our customers, we develop optimised solutions related to propel, work, and control functions by specifying and verifying Danfoss Power Solution products and systems. This is a remote (home-office) position with frequent travel (up to 20%), primarily across Northwest France (Brittany, Pays de la Loire, and Centre-Val de Loire).

What You’ll Be Doing

Partner with customers to define technical requirements and develop optimized hydraulic and electronic system solutions.

Provide pre-sales technical support, including customer presentations, demonstrations, and training.

Design, size, validate, and troubleshoot application solutions using Danfoss products and technologies.

Conduct machine testing and performance verification both on customer sites and at Danfoss application development facilities.

Act as the voice of the customer by sharing market trends, technical requirements, and application insights with internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent engineering experience.

Experience in application engineering, preferably within mobile off-highway equipment or related industries.

Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electronic control systems, communication networks, and software-based control solutions.

Proven ability to manage technical projects and work directly with customers in a consultative environment.

Professional proficiency in English; additional Spanish language skills are considered an advantage.
