To support our customers further, Danfoss Climate Solutions is on the lookout for an Application Manager - Industrial Refrigeration who will take on an important role in our growing Industrial Refrigeration business area.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical and applications support to our Industrial Refrigeration direct customers, contractors, consultants and wholesale channel partners within the North Europe Region (UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and the Baltics). The candidate we are looking for is proactive and shows good communication skills, is customer focused and have a problem-solving mindset. 

 

You will be part of the strong North Europe Region’s Climate Solutions Applications Team and will be located in one of our offices in the region from where you will work closely with our technical support teams and sales teams in the region. We support work life balance, so you will have the option to work from home as and when it is needed and agreed.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

•    Act as application support and sparring partner for customers, our sales teams, and the technical support teams in the region
•    Support visits to customers for projects and troubleshooting including support during commissioning/service
•    Assist in ensuring Danfoss products are being properly handled and installed onsite.
•    System design support for contractors and consultants
•    Stay updated regarding relevant market trends and gather market and competitor intelligence
•    Deliver product and application training to groups of customers, our sales or technical support people either online or face-to-face
•    Provide insights, input and market knowledge to new product developments, launches and sales support material

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate for this position, shall possess the following background and skills:  

•    A bachelor’s degree or qualification in refrigeration or a related industry would be an advantage
•    Detailed experience within the Industrial Refrigeration industry or similar, including domestic or commercial heating / cooling applications, or demonstrating an advanced hands-on level of competence on complex refrigeration or air-conditioning systems
•    A solid understanding of industrial refrigeration systems incl. how to work with Ammonia and CO2 applications
•    Commercial understanding & flair
•    Capable of managing own time and to work to tight customer deadlines
•    Fluency in English
