Job Description
Through strong, cross functional teamwork in an agile environment, integrate novel drive technology, create innovative solutions, for compressor drive packages in HVAC application.
Control Algorithm and Function Design, Development and Test for Fixed and Variable Speed Scroll Compressor Application.
Job Responsibilities
Lead technical discussion with drive technology and development. Define drive specification and application requirement for Danfoss variable speed hermetic compressor products and acting as an interface with drive supplier / business partner.
Create innovative compressor drive system level solutions and understand novel drive technical features.
Qualify drive and define drive standards including all related functions.
Lead technical discussion regarding compressor drives inside Danfoss R&D, with FSE, TPS etc.
Understand and follow drive software management and sustaining process, manage software upgrade changes and qualification.
Compressor drive competitor benchmark, particularly technically.
Coporate with drive suppliers to manage design qualification, work closely with them to comply development process control, challenge supplier for their design.
Coaching junior engineers.
Background & Skills
Bachelor and/or Master in control engineering, automation, power electronics, or a similar education combined with a technical background, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.
Fluent and comprehensive English skills is a must, both with written and oral.
Able to work in a cross cultural and multi-national environment.
System analysis and design skills is a plus. Experiences with compressor control system design, specification, programming testing is preferred.
Teamwork, leadership, taking responsibility, rigorousness, innovative assertiveness while making proposals and discussion for decision making is a must.
Strong problem-solving skills in multi-physics world is a must. Practical and creative in problem thinking.
